GCL Energy Technology Presents AI Data Center Strategy at 2026 Sustainability Global Leaders Conference
2026-10-23
SHANGHAI, October 22, 2026 — GCL Energy Technology presented its integrated energy and AI computing platform at the 2026 Sustainability Global Leaders Conference, outlining its approach to powering AI infrastructure and its development plans for Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Held in Shanghai from October 20–22 and jointly hosted by the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) and Sina Group, the conference brought together participants to discuss sustainable development.
GCL Energy Technology’s platform connects energy supply, AI computing infrastructure and Model-as-a-Service (MaaS). It is designed to translate the cost advantages of green electricity into competitive computing services and AI token pricing.
The company’s integrated infrastructure solution combines wind and solar power, energy storage, gas-fired generation and AI data centers. Its technical architecture incorporates high-voltage DC bus connections, grid-forming energy storage and liquid-cooled computing facilities to support the efficient delivery of power to AI workloads.
Beyond physical infrastructure, GCL Energy Technology has established MaaS capabilities that provide access to multiple leading AI models through unified metering and billing. This service layer connects energy and computing resources with ready-to-use AI applications, extending the company’s offering across the “green power–computing–tokens” value chain.
Southeast Asia is a key focus of the company’s international development plans. In Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, GCL Energy Technology plans to offer turnkey solutions covering site selection, green power infrastructure, grid connection and operations.
The approach brings energy planning and data center development into a coordinated process, allowing power supply requirements to be considered from the earliest stages of a project.
As AI adoption expands, the availability, cost and sustainability of electricity are becoming increasingly important considerations for computing infrastructure. GCL Energy Technology’s strategy positions energy and computing as interconnected parts of project development, with the aim of supporting commercially competitive and more sustainable AI services.
