GCL Energy Technology Discusses Green Power and AI Computing at Shanghai’s INCLUSION Conference

2026-09-10

GCL Energy Technology shared its approach to integrating green electricity and AI computing at an energy forum during the INCLUSION Conference in Shanghai on September 10.

Zhao Bin, head of the company’s AIDC Strategy Research Institute, joined industry representatives to discuss how closer coordination between energy supply and computing infrastructure can support AI development. The forum was jointly organized by China Energy News, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and Ant Digital Technologies.

The company is developing integrated services spanning green power supply, AI computing infrastructure and token-based AI services. Its approach combines clean energy assets with storage and electricity trading to support reliable supply and manage energy costs. In the first half of 2026, it managed 22.8 TWh of electricity sales and traded 1.3 TWh of green power.

It is also extending its energy forecasting and AI trading capabilities into data center operations, bringing weather, generation, demand and market data together to improve coordination between power supply and computing workloads.
