2026-10-16

GCL Energy Technology showcased its energy storage solutions for zero-carbon industrial parks and data centers at the 2026 World Energy Storage Conference, which opened on October 15 in Ningde, Fujian, China.

For industrial parks, the company integrates renewable power, energy storage and electricity demand through coordinated energy management, helping businesses use more renewable electricity and manage emissions. For data centers, it is developing a layered approach combining fast-response storage, facility-level battery systems and uninterruptible power supplies to address fluctuating computing loads and support power reliability and quality.

The company has commissioned more than 2 GWh of energy storage projects and has a project pipeline exceeding 10 GWh. Its technology portfolio spans lithium iron phosphate batteries, supercapacitors, flywheels, sodium-ion batteries and vanadium flow batteries.

As of June 30, 2026, GCL Energy Technology had signed agreements covering 63 national-level zero-carbon industrial parks, including 25 added in the first half of the year. Its focus extends beyond commissioning to ongoing operations, coordinating assets and dispatch to improve renewable energy utilization and energy performance.
